Anyone who, because of a small budget or a small team, finds themselves in the unfortunate position of having to write a film’s screenplay themselves can now draw inspiration from the greats. Every year before the Academy Awards, the studios put selected screenplays from the nominated films online. Thirty screenplays are currently available online as PDFs, including those for the Oscar-nominated films "Django Unchainend", "Silver Linings Playbook", "Flight", "Anna Karenina", "Frankenweenie" and "Wreck-It Ralph". All screenplays are in English.
Since the books are online only for a limited period and are removed again after the Oscars are presented, it might be wise to save one or another work beforehand.
