Courses on “Camera”, “Postproduction” or “Documentary Film” can be booked in modules. New this year: a “Fundraising and Pitching Video” course for documentary filmmakers and small production companies, which today are increasingly expected to present projects through short “teaser videos” on Vimeo or YouTube.

Registration
Here is the registration form. The complete “Hands on xK” week costs 1,250 euros; individual days can be booked for 300 euros. In addition, a VFX masterclass with Michael Coldewey will be held on March 11 for a registration fee of 250 euros.
For filmmakers who want to apply for a training voucher from the employment agency, the programme number required there for processing is 843-1102-2015. According to HFF Munich, a pleasing number of applications have already been approved this year.
Free Events
For anyone who wants to get a taste of the industry during the week: from March 8 to 10, there is a free three-day event featuring Transmedia, Augmented Reality and Animation Day. Registration is available through the Bayerisches Filmzentrum.
During the Hands-on week, there will also be several open, free evening events in the HFF Audimax that all film enthusiasts can attend without advance registration:
