The National Association of Broadcasters, organizer of the NAB convention and trade show, reports an increase in visitors for this year’s event. According to this, both the total number of visitors and the number of foreign NAB visitors have increased. However, the figures are to be understood as an interim result. The final figures will not be announced until after the conclusion of NAB 2005.

While 97,544 visitors came in the previous year (of whom 22,320 were from abroad), by Tuesday of this week there were already 104,427 visitors (of whom 23,401 were foreigners). The increased preliminary visitor figures stand in contrast to the number of exhibitors – it fell slightly to 1,379 (previous year: 1,392) companies.
