Toon Boom Animation has made its Toon Boom Studio 3.5 more attractive especially for beginners: A more intuitive user interface and a series of assistants are intended to make getting started easier. The more than 275 templates are also helpful here.
But experienced users also benefit from new features such as a revised timeline, improved management of colour palettes including import and export, and new effects such as the drop-shadow effect or the quick animation of drawings.
With OpenGL, a preview of the animation in real time is possible. PDF also continues to be available as a new export format in order to preserve the quality of the vector graphics.
The Scene Operator, Contour Editor, Color Transform and Gradients Mapping tools have undergone revision.
Toon Boom Studio 3.5 is available immediately for Mac OS and Windows. The price for the full version is 400 US dollars, while the update is available for 100 US dollars. A 30-day demo is also available.
