The Idee07 Internet TV channel is online. The new offering is intended to report on and promote outstanding ideas in the field of communication as a “portal of creative people”. The owner and operator of the channel is Idee Internet TV GmbH in Hamburg. The concept and implementation are the responsibility of the Oysterbay advertising agency, likewise based in the Hanseatic city. The technical implementation is based on TV Next IPTV technology from the Berlin multimedia agency Exozet.
Two cooperation partners will underpin Idee07’s expertise and support the channel team: the Art Directors Club Germany (ADC) and the marketing magazine “Horizont”. The ADC will launch with its own section and champion outstanding ideas under the club motto “Creativity pays”. In addition to editorial work, “Horizont” will report on leading figures and events in the creative scene.
In film contributions, Idee07 presents new ideas from all areas of communication, including TV spots, cinema advertising films, viral films, events, sales-promotion measures and all forms of print and digital communication. Ideas from the worlds of design, architecture and business are also presented. The programme of idee07 presents not only the ideas themselves, but also the exciting people, institutions and events behind them, such as creative people, photographers, directors, agencies, productions, universities or award shows. Every creative person also has the opportunity to create their personal profile in the “Creative Municipality” section. “Idee07 wants to become the home portal of creative people”, Exozet formulates the ambition.
The Idee07 programme can be accessed free of charge. The channel is to be financed through creative advertising. According to Exozet, the aim is for the paid advertising to be as good as the ideas editorially celebrated on the channel. Only spots that viewers look forward to are to run in the “Creative Advertising Blocks”. The channel accepts ideas, suggestions and opinions at redaktion@idee07.tv.
