Peter Mehlstäubler Is the New Managing Director of Nemetschek Allplan GmbH

Effective January 15, 2008, Peter Mehlstäubler has been appointed Managing Director of Nemetschek Allplan GmbH. In the newly created General Manager role, he will be responsible for product and development organization as well as product marketing through Nemetschek sales companies in Germany and abroad.

Peter Mehlstäubler has more than twenty years of experience in the international software industry, with a focus on 3D applications and computer graphics. Most recently, as Vice President he was responsible for product planning, product management and support at mental images, a company specializing in rendering and 3D software.

From 1997 to 2006, Peter Mehlstäubler held positions of responsibility at Alias Systems, including Business Development Manager Europe and Vice President Product Development in Toronto, Canada. Alias Systems provides software solutions for industrial design and entertainment. After studying mechanical engineering, Peter Mehlstäubler worked in various roles for U.S. computer manufacturer Control Data in Germany and the United States.

Nemetschek Allplan GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nemetschek AG. It emerged from Nemetschek Technology GmbH, which was renamed Nemetschek Allplan GmbH at the beginning of 2008 as part of an internal reorganization. The aim of the new structure is to strengthen the Allplan brand and further expand the market position of the Allplan product family.
