Developing with Unity Games

Unity Technologies’ Unity Games division wants to give independent game developers for mobile devices more support in the future and has announced a publishing program.

Of course, the game developers are intended to use the Unity Engine and show what the engine can do through cool games. On the other hand, Unity Games presents the resulting games on its http://www.unitygames.com platform, establishes industry contacts, handles marketing and provides technical support. With this package, independent developers have more opportunity to realize games and make them better known that would otherwise probably have disappeared into the nowhere of an app store. Actually a good deal.

The latest examples presented are the sporty downhill game "Ski Cross" by Canadian studio Roadhouse Interactive and the action RPG "Archangel" by Japanese developer Black Tower Studios, although they are still making us wait a little for a trailer. Both games are then expected to be available in the fall.
