Maxon announced today its partnership with Side Effects Software and the planned development of the plug-in, which is expected to be available at the end of this year.

The Houdini Engine was presented in mid-2013 as part of SideFX Labs and enables Houdini’s procedural technologies to be used in other digital content creation applications. In future, the pipeline solution between Cinema 4D and Houdini will allow artists direct, native access to Houdini Assets in Cinema 4D.
