Studio Laika produced the Oscar-nominated Tim Burton film "Corpse Bride" (2005), set new standards with the award-laden "Coraline" (2009) and turned to the subject of zombies in "ParaNorman" (2012). The 550-employee American studio also relies on stop motion, rapid prototyping and VFX techniques for its latest film, "The Boxtrolls".
