Beach Wave Simulation

Houdini FX apparently is increasingly becoming the tool of choice when it comes to fluid simulations. Carlos Parmentier used it to create an astonishing beach-water simulation.

And he thought of everything: sea foam, water bubbles, wind, fog and spray make the simulation look so realistic. Even a dead swimmer has just been washed onto the beach. Fittingly, the CG artist from Spain created the beach scene while on holiday.
