V-Ray 3.5 for Maya Released

Chaosgroup’s V-Ray renderer in version 3.5 is now also available for Maya. There will soon be a free webinar on the new features.

After the update for 3ds Max, the new version of the V-Ray renderer is now also available for Maya. New features likewise include adaptive lights, frame buffer tools, GPU rendering improvement, resumable rendering and more. You can look at the new features you see in the clip again in detail with the renderer’s other features here.

Price and Compatibility

Autodesk Maya versions 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 (64-bit) are supported. You can find the exact system specifications for this here. Prices start at €750 with one floating licence and one floating render node. Read more about the costs here.
