Trapcode Suite 16
Trapcode Suite 16 delivered 11 tools for particle simulation and 3D effects in motion graphics and VFX. Trapcode Particular remained the centrepiece for building organic particle effects and adding 3D elements inside After Effects.
Digital Production also covered the complementary Magic Bullet Suite 14.
New physics
The release allowed artists to combine air and bounce physics. New wind effects responded to particle mass, size and air resistance, with controls for turbulence, position, rotation and orientation.
Flocking tools governed attraction and separation between neighbouring particles. Meander behaviour created wandering motion, while multiple simultaneous emitters opened additional animation options. Cineware integration also brought Cinema 4D inputs to Trapcode Form and Mir.
Further information
Release details were available from Red Giant Complete and the Trapcode Suite 16 announcement.
