KeenTools 2021.3 introduced three Nuke nodes for blendshape workflows and a collection of tracking and FaceBuilder improvements.

Blendshapes in Nuke

The new nodes could generate geometry from objects with similar topology, animate those shapes without switching applications, and combine animated geometries with different proportions. Blendshape geometry could also be passed to GeoTracker.

FACS nodes generated 51 ARKit-compatible FACS blendshapes for FaceBuilder geometry directly inside Nuke.

Tracker and FaceBuilder updates

GeoTracker and FaceTracker received viewport-stability improvements. FaceBuilder for Nuke and Blender gained an algorithm that automatically reduced pin size. The Blender add-on adopted a local viewport and added user preferences.
