NVIDIA Omniverse Leaves Beta

The Omniverse launch adds prepared USD assets, Audio2Face blendshapes, Machinima content, Nucleus Cloud, Create and View.

USD assets: The launch included thousands of Omniverse-ready USD assets accessible through the launcher from TurboSquid, CGTrader, Sketchfab, ActorCore, Daz 3D and PlantCatalog.

Application updates: Audio2Face added facial-blendshape generation and MetaHuman Creator compatibility. Machinima gained assets from MechWarrior 5 and Shadow Warrior 3. Nucleus Cloud enabled sharing of large 3D scenes. Omniverse Create handled scene layout, while Omniverse View supported review.

Platform architecture: Omniverse connected artists across applications including 3ds Max, Maya, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp and Unreal Engine 4. RTX Render used NVIDIA RTX hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
