In nuce: Maxon announces its programme of events for the 3D and Motion Design Show . At the virtual event, numerous motion graphics artists will share their expertise in the fields of sports, film and technology. The 3D and Motion Design Show 2022 is scheduled for 20 July, i.e. tomorrow, Wednesday. As in previous years, the presentations will be available afterwards on Maxon’s YouTube channel. The event should be particularly worthwhile for users of Cinema 4D, Redshift, Red Giant and ZBrush.
What programme items can participants expect? Below is an overview of some of the lecturers and their presentations. Maxon is also organising numerous webinars as part of the 3D and Motion Design Show, which users can discover via the corresponding event calendar .
- Luis Miranda:
The 3D motion designer has worked with companies, athletes and artists such as The Mill, the Atlanta Hawks, the Notre Dame Football Team, the Denver Broncos and the Artist Beeple. In addition, Luis is an ambassador for Kitbash 3D and also a Teaching Assistant at School of Motion. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado Denver, with a Bachelor’s degree in Television, Theatre and Film. Those interested can attend Luis’ presentation called “Creature Feature | Bringing Monsters to Life”.
- Tatiana Shchekina:
Tatiana hails from Los Angeles and is a motion designer, animator, 3D artist and storyteller all in one. Over the course of her decade-long career, Tatiana has worked for major companies such as Slack, Amazon, Microsoft, AT&T, Aetna, and Vmg Studios. Tatiana is an alumna of Pacific National University, specialising in architecture. She will be lecturing as part of the presentation “Stylised 3D with Cinema 4D and Redshift”.
- Kris Theorin
is creative director and lead animator at Something’s Awry Productions. The production company focuses on short films, commercials and television & web series. Kris has worked with high-reach media brands – including: Lego, Warner Bros, Mattel, Zing Toys, Disney or NBC Universal. At the 3D and Motion Design Show, Kris will be presenting “Creating a 3D Animation From Scratch”.
- Sarah Gibson:
is a freelance designer. She specialises in 2D and 3D animation, but also character animation. Sarah has collaborated with the girls and boys from Perception to create the spin-offs of Marvel’s Moon Knight and Pixar’s Lightyear. Their presentation is called “Cinematic Stereoscopic”.
