In nuce: As a follow-up to this year’s Siggraph, where Maxon was present with its The 3D and Motion Design Show, the associated live recordings have now been released as YouTube videos – among the prominent personnel is: Victor Dimitrov (also known under his pseudonym Weight of Thought). He is a creative specialising in design and animation. His favourite tools include Cinema 4D and Octane – he also prefers to work with Kitbashing. In the workshop, which lasts around three quarters of an hour, Victor will show how to create impressive animations with comparatively little effort (the lead image in this news item is a typical example of Victor’s creative work).
In toto: Victor has been working as a 3D Design Consultant at 8VC for almost three years now. 8VC is a technology and life sciences investment firm. Prior to that, Victor worked as a Senior Motion Graphic Designer at VFX service provider DNEG for over three years. Prior to that, Victor worked as a visual effects artist at Kerosene Visual Effects and as a post production supervisor at Gladstone Media. According to Gladstone Media’s self-promotion, the company is a mixture of a web agency, design company and production company. Over a period of more than five years, David has distinguished himself as a talented CG generalist under the moniker Weight of Thought.
