We have not yet tested the full range of functions of the free video editor, but VSDC Free Video Editor is certainly well suited for testing. The editor has currently been released in version 2.0, in which according to Flash Integro its performance is said to have been further optimised.
In addition to non-linear video editing and subpixel processing of video fragments and images, the features include an intuitive user interface, many export options, and burning DVDs and Blu-rays with just one click. The VSDC Editor is intended to support all common video and audio formats as well as codecs. Integrated profiles make it possible to create video files for various multimedia and mobile devices.
Videos, images and sound fragments could already be added to the final material in version 1, but since version 2 interactive objects such as rotating logos or other objects can now also be created from a set of static images in any format. Photoshop files can therefore also be imported and compiled into an interactive image.
Like any other object, the animations are also intended to be easy to adjust with the programme: the user defines the time frame, the settings of the video image and the individual images in the frame.
VSDC Free Video Editor is compatible with Windows 2000 / 2003 / XP / Vista / Win7 / Win8. The download is 27.3 MB.
