The first season of the successful US series L.A. CRASH will finally be released on DVD on November 13, 2009. The series is based on Paul Haggis’s feature film of the same name. Across 13 episodes, viewers can follow the fates of different residents of Los Angeles: a cynical record producer with a wild history of drug use, police officers at the edge of the law, Korean Americans in the mire of street gangs, and an estate agent whose crisis leads to private catastrophe.
Inspired by his Oscar-winning masterpiece L.A. CRASH, director Paul Haggis again brings fates into collision in the multi-ethnic metropolis of Los Angeles. In the same episodic structure as the original, the focus switches between the protagonists at a rapid pace, thereby capturing the viewers’ full attention.
Hollywood icon Dennis Hopper was also secured and impresses in a magnificent leading role that is partly autobiographical. After the L.A.
