With the engine, the procedural node-based Houdini workflow can be transferred to Unity, Unreal Engine 4, Maya or Cinema 4D and used to build digital assets. This means that even smaller teams can produce AAA-quality results more quickly.
The Houdini Engine Indie is compatible with all Houdini plug-ins (Unity, UE4, Autodesk Maya and 3ds Max as well as Maxon’s Cinema 4D). This allows game developers to load Houdini digital assets created in Houdini Indie or downloaded from the Unity Asset Store or the Orbolt 3D Smart Asset Store into the tool of choice.
