In the focus of the current issue, we examined 2D and non-photorealistic renderings; to do so, we looked at tools such as TVPaint, Clip Studio Paint, Animator, Mischief, Blender Grease Pencil and Anime Studio Pro, as well as exciting projects from this area. Of course, there is also plenty of 3D again: including the making-of of VES winner “Citipati” from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and workshops on Modo & Fur, Blender Animation Nodes and 3ds Max 2017.
