The Golaem Crowd plug-in for Maya has appeared in version 2.0 and was released at Siggraph in Los Angeles. With the new release, crowd behavior is intended to be much easier to create through the Behavior Editor and new triggers. In addition, new behavior functions were added, such as Ragdoll Behavior and formation behavior, as well as better control over the characters.
Speed is also said to be 15 times faster than before through the new simulation engine, and GPU character previsualization with skinned meshes is intended to be possible with the Maya Viewport.
