Today at 8:50 pm, SideFX is holding a live stream for the release of Houdini 16. Expected new features include ocean, hair and fur tools as well as automatic rigging functions. You can register for it here.
Anyone who does not want to wait until then can watch the SIGGRAPH presentation again. In it, after a brief look back, you get a preview of the features in the upcoming version.
Houdini in DP
We have already frequently presented the software with articles and workshops in our issues. Houdini will also be part of the motion graphics focus in the upcoming issue, which will be available at newsstands on February 20. Among other things, we examine procedural motion graphics in the software. Stay tuned!
