In nuce: Pilgway releases version 2022.35 of 3DCoat – the latest version of the 3D modelling tool. At the same time, Pilgway has released 3DCoatTextura 2022. 3DCoatTextura is the budget version of 3DCoat, with which users can texture 3D models that were previously created using other DCC tools. We last reported on 3DCoat on 13/06/2022 . Version 2022.28 was released at that time.
New functions: Below we present some of the newly added features that regular 3DCoat users are likely to be enthusiastic about.
- Decimation dialogue: The problems in the previous version have been fixed.
- The main programming interface now also supports coloured voxels.
- The hotkey mechanics have been improved.
- The voxel colours have been applied to a wide range of tools – including: Blob, Spike, Snake, Muscle, Primitive and more.
- Modelling and painting at the same time: with all brushes based on the Voxel Brush Engine.
- Many other functions that are worth discovering.
