In nuce: Technical artist and Houdini fanboy Simon Verstraete has published a tutorial video. The aim of the video is to learn how to utilise the improved fluid nodes (SOP Flip) from the recently released Houdini 19.5. The tutorial is primarily for users who are interested in creating high-quality simulations with Houdini or who are looking for an introduction to the use of Houdini’s Fluid Nodes. Simon demonstrates how to work with Fluid Nodes using several practical examples (including water splashes on a plastic toy).
